The University provides Moodle and their own bespoke system MMS as the VLEs to assist with curriculum delivery. Neither of these VLEs provides a suitable platform for an integrated Medical Degree course with complex timetables and clinical placements. The School therefore has invested in the development of their own system, Galen which has evolved over the 10 years of the new curriculum but is now firmly established as an integral part of the curriculum and its delivery.
