The School offers students the opportunity to spend some weeks of the summer working on a project.  This arrangement is formally called ‘Vacational Scholarship Scheme’ but is also know informally as ‘Summer Project Students’.  There is a policy and a list of opportunities (2023). Any student awarded a vacation scholarship who subsequently fails any part of their assessments, whether knowledge, skills or portfolio, will not be able to start their vacation project. Students wishing to undertake a placement at another institution may require a reference letter from the school.  A standardised format is available.
