The St Andrew curriculum is delivered face to face with students having every opportunity to discuss their learning with the teaching staff. However, to support and supplement their face to face teaching, many staff have developed their own interactive learning resources or use freely available elearning resources or elearning packages from the web. These resources vary in design, length and purpose.
Links to these resources will be placed on the relevant element pages of Galen. This allows the resource to be directly linked to the teaching and so better supports the students learning. Alternatively Galen library provides quick links to all eResources. [Galen footer/ Media links]
Galen Media Links provides students with quick access to
- Anatomy library
- Box of Broadcasts (BoB)
- e-texbooks
- MedVu video library
Interactive Learning Resources
Staff continue to develop and expand the library of eResources using Articulate Storyline software. These resources are held on the University Moodle system and are accessible from both on and off campus.
- Refer to post on accessing systems.
