Wireless access

Students can use Wi-Fi access the internet using Eduroam from all over the University campus. The MBSB has excellent wireless access throughout the building.

Drop in/common areas

Medical Students are able to use the drop-in study spaces as detailed by the Main Library. Check out this page for details.

Clinical and Anatomical Resource Centre (CARC)

The CARC (room 104), located on the ground floor opposite the café area, is available for medical students for drop-in clinical skills practice and study. Access to this space is via students’ matriculation card. Please note that food and drink are not permitted (except bottled water). Handwash facilities are provided in this room for Clinical Skills practice.

Tutorial Rooms

Tutorial rooms are only available as study space when not in use for teaching or other booked events. The UG student access document outlines the conditions under which these spaces can be used by students. An overview of rooms in use for teaching and other booked events is available by looking at the university’s online timetable.
Please observe good etiquette when using the drop-in study spaces.
