The School requires all students on the BSc (Hons) Medicine and MBChB (ScotGEM) programmes to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, operated by Disclosure Scotland.
Students are advised of this policy in the summer of the year that they start. The PVG applicant document should be read as you are required to submit ID prior to the start of the academic year and bring this to your online Teams appointment. Disclosure Scotland PVG applicant online guidance advises students on what information they must research to complete the online application.
For staff. The policy on students leaving the PVG scheme should be followed.
